DESCRIPTION:​The NCCP Freestyle Canada FUNdamentalz Coach Course ​is ​the ​introductory ​level ​coaching ​course formerly know as Club Coach. Register Here. \nThis 2 day course will be Facilitated by Patrick Breault at Marmot Basin\, JASPER – November 17/18\, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) \nOn successful completion of this course\, you will be able to: \n\nDemonstrate balanced and dynamic short and medium parallel skiing on blue terrain\, freestyle stance in mogul skiing\, basic box skills\, 180s and simple uprights on small jumps and switch wedge skiing.\nUse FUNdamentalz Coach Pocket Guides lesson plans and reports cards.\nBe able to teach age-appropriate lessons (aged 6+) in a child-centered manner.\nBe able to develop an Emergency Action Plan and complete accident report form.\n\nBe familiar with: \n\nThe Freestyle Canada NCCP coach education system.\nThe HIGH FIVE® approach to healthy child development.\nRisk management practices required to lead programs in ski environments.\n\nYou will need to bring a helmet\, ​ski ​gear ​and ​any ​food/water ​you ​may ​need. ​There ​will ​be ​indoor ​and ​outdoor ​segments ​of ​the ​course\, ​so ​please ​dress ​accordingly.\n​The ​course ​fee ​does ​not ​include ​lift ​tickets.​ \n​Prerequisites: FC Coaches license (membership) \nMore ​information ​about ​the ​Coach ​Pathway ​and ​courses ​can ​be ​found ​at ​http://freestyleski.com/coach/training-programs/
