DESCRIPTION:Entry-level coaching course. \nCoach Curtis Sinton will be leading this course. Please register here: GOAL LINE \n  \nThe NCCP Freestyle Canada FUNdamentalz Coach Course ​is ​the ​introductory ​level ​coaching ​course formerly know as Club Coach. \nThis 2 day course will be Facilitated by Curtis Sinton at Canada Olympic Park\, Calgary November 24-25\, 2018 \nOn successful completion of this course\, you will be able to: \n\nDemonstrate balanced and dynamic short and medium parallel skiing on blue terrain\, freestyle stance in mogul skiing\, basic box skills\, 180’s and simple uprights on small jumps and switch wedge skiing.\nUse FUNdamentalz Coach Pocket Guides lesson plans and reports cards.\nBe able to teach age-appropriate lessons (aged 6+) in a child-centered manner.\nBe able to develop an Emergency Action Plan and complete accident report form.\n\nBe familiar with: \n\nThe Freestyle Canada NCCP coach education system.\nThe HIGH FIVE® approach to healthy child development.\nRisk management practices required to lead programs in ski environments.\n\nYou will need to bring a helmet\, ​ski ​gear ​and ​any ​food/water ​you ​may ​need. ​There ​will ​be ​indoor ​and ​outdoor ​segments ​of ​the ​course\, ​so ​please ​dress ​accordingly.\n​The ​course ​fee ​does ​not ​include ​lift ​tickets.​ \n​Prerequisites: FC Coaches license (membership) \nMore ​information ​about ​the ​Coach ​Pathway ​and ​courses ​can ​be ​found ​at ​http://freestyleski.com/coach/training-programs/
