Freestyle Alberta launches refined website & brand

Freestyle Alberta is excited to announce the re-launch of the website freestylealberta.ski, a refined brand, and a communications and marketing strategy all aimed at strengthening the provincial association’s mission “to foster a passion for freestyle skiing in Alberta”.

The goal of the new strategy is to operationalize the marketing and communications initiatives outlined in the Freestyle Alberta Strategic Plan (2024-2027). See the link below.

“I’m very excited about the progress made in the last few months and the direction we are headed,” said Jeremy Cooper, Sport & Development Director for Freestyle Alberta. “Our focus will continue to be to inspire a lifelong participation in the sport of freestyle skiing and we are aware that marketing and communications are a key delivery mechanism for this. The new website will service our membership more effectively and we hope can also drive additional engagement and interest in the sport across the province.”

Freestyle Alberta also re-launched its e-newsletter, now under the title “Alberta Airwaves”, and are creating plans for an editorial committee and content team to deliver on some lofty goals of elevating the profile and increasing the engagement of FA programs, athletes, coaches, alumni and clubs.

Some of the objectives and goals for the new strategy, include, but not limited to:

  1. Engage a Media Strategy & Plan
  2. Create Compelling Content on all Channels
  3. Improve Brand Identity
  4. Develop New Partnerships
  5. Develop Brand Strategy
  6. Increase Fundraising Opportunities
