Become a Judge

  • Find Freestyle Alberta’s Judging resources here
  • For our Regional Park & Pipe (Freeski) training/clinic this yearwe are trying something new! We are asking our judges & interested parties to go online to the FIS Education Platform http://fis-edu.com/ where you can set up your profile and gain access to the many online FIS Resources. We would you take the “Freeski 20/21National Clinic” (free of charge) that is available on this FIS site. You will be able to work away at this clinic as it does not have to be completed in one sitting, you can start and stop as many times as necessary to suit your own schedule. This means that you have a couple of months to complete this before our season starts so please go online for this learning experience! Once you have completed the Clinic you should be able to download a certificate of completion which I would ask that you submit to [email protected], preferably no later than early December. This is a comprehensive Freeski Clinic that I did last year as a test run and found it to be a good refresher and/or learning experience. Keep in mind that at the Club Comp level our athletes will be focused mostly on lower end tricks so don’t be discouraged or intimidated by some of the bigger tricks included in this clinic, the fundamentals of judging and scoring Park & Pipe are the same at all levels!
