The competition pathway can be complex, so we have created this short post to explain a few details.

ALBERTA GAMES QUALIFIER
We welcome all U16 and U14 athletes to attend the Alberta Games Qualifier in Red Deer on December 19-21.
EVENT DETAILSMOGUL FEST
The 2026 version of MogulFest will feature 3 separate events:
- Central Club Comp
- Provincial Single Moguls
- Canada Cup Dev Series MO/DM
During 2026 MogulFest, Canyon Ski Area will have two moguls courses side by side full of athletes celebrating mogul skiing at all levels. The Canada Cup development series is the new layer of competition at this event targeting Train to Train athletes bridging the gap between Provincial and National level competitions. Canada Cup Dev series spots are allocated by the PSO and will host athletes from across Canada meanwhile provincial and club comp athletes will all get starts at the same event! There is a qualification process for the Canada Cup Dev Series. More information on how to qualify can be found on our “selection criteria” page online.

Registration for all Club and Provincial Freestyle competitions will open on December 1st, 2025
