Freestyle Skiing is set to shine at the 2026 Alberta Winter Games, taking place February 13–16 in the Lakeland Region. The Slopestyle and Moguls events will be hosted at Kinosoo Ridge Ski Area, offering a thrilling showcase of Alberta’s top young freestyle athletes aged 12–15. The Alberta Winter Games serve as a meaningful stepping stone in an athlete’s development pathway—fitting between Club Competition and Provincial-level events—making it an ideal and memorable experience for those beginning their competitive journey in Freestyle Skiing. As part of a tradition that began in 1976, the Alberta Winter Games continue to highlight sport development and community spirit across the province—with the Lakeland Region, a former 2010 host, once again stepping up to deliver an unforgettable Games experience.
