Girlstylerz Alberta Presents: sheRose meltdown

In partnership with Freestyle Canada, Freestyle Alberta, and Rude Girls Shop, Girlstylerz Alberta will be hosting a girls-only skills camp May 11 & 12 at Sunshine Village! Lead by coaches Alexa Chick and Lauren Ryan, our team of certified and celebrity coaches will work with participants to hone their skills and confidence in this fun and supportive environment!

In addition to female-focused coaching, this camp will include:

  • Access to Alberta’s excellent mogul course and Sunshine Village’s several terrain parks
  • Video review and analysis from some of the top female athletes/coaches in Canada
  • Afternoon skateboarding workshop facilitated by Rude Girls in Banff on May 11
  • Professional mom-and-daughter photoshoot in celebration of Mother’s Day during the afternoon of May 12
  • PRIZES!!!

Registration & Pricing

Two-day camp for girls ages 10+: $100

Helmets mandatory for all on-snow programming and skateboarding workshop. Release of Liability will be required to participate in skateboarding workshop and will be sent via email upon completion of registration.

Lift passes not included and can be purchased using our group discount rate via the SnowReg link below. CWSAA Competitor Pass extension program will be offered to participants at Sunshine Village for $179 plus tax. This can be accessed by any Competitor Passholder at Sunshine Village’s Guest Services Desk with presentation of their current CWSAA pass.


Discounted Lift Ticket Rate:

Adult Age 18+ $120.75 Inc. Tax

Youth Age 13-17 $93.45 Inc. Tax

Child Age 10-12 $36.75 Inc. Tax

Each participant will need to fill out an online Release of Liability Waiver, which must be completed ahead of camp dates. Minors will need to have their legal guardian complete the waiver on their behalf. A photo may be required at time of pass issuance.

Note: This camp requires all registrants to have a current and valid 2023-2024 Freestyle Athlete (or other PSO) membership to participate. Those who do not currently have a membership can purchase one here: https://snowreg.com/#!/memberships/freestyle-ab-2023-2024-memberships

Anticipated Questions:

 Q: Can I still participate in the skateboarding workshop if I don’t own any equipment of my own?

A: Yes! Girlztylerlz will provide a limited quantity of equipment for use during the skateboarding workshop, courtesy of the Town of Banff.


Q: What if I’m not interested in skateboarding?

A: Participants are encouraged to bring their personal scooter, or take part in bracelet making if they are not interested in skateboarding!


Q: Are lift tickets included for female guardians for Mother’s Day photoshoot?

A: Guardian passes are not included. Guardians looking to participate in mom-and-daughter shoot will be required to purchase a regular lift ticket at Sunshine ticket window.


Q: Is there any programming available for brothers during this girls-only camp?

A: Families are encouraged to contact Girlstylerz Alberta for local club spring camp offerings at Sunshine during May 11 & 12.
