I started skiing when I was three years old, introduced to the sport by my parents. Since then, I’ve skied in many different places and trained with the Edmonton Freestyle Ski Club, Proline, and now the Alberta Team. Some of my biggest milestones so far are landing my first backflip and getting my first corks on snow. My parents and coaches are my biggest support system, always pushing me to grow each season. What motivates me most is the feeling of landing a new trick or reaching a higher level. Outside of skiing, I love downhill mountain biking and fishing. My favourite part of freestyle skiing is how fun it is and how excited everyone is to be out there together. A typical training week includes skiing, gym sessions, and other activities that keep me strong and progressing. I currently attend the National Sport School at WinSport, where I’m in Grade 11, and I’m always focused on improving, having fun, and pushing my limits as a freestyle skier.
