ALBERTA TEAM – PARK & PIPE
Athlete Bio
I started skiing when I was three because my parents wanted to take small ski trips to the mountains—but I ended up loving it way more than they expected.
Over the years, I’ve been supported and inspired by so many people, especially my first coach, Dorian, who made me fall in love with skiing; my parents, who have supported me the whole way; and my current coaches—Aussie, Pat, Spenny, and Dave—who have helped me grow faster than ever.
I’m motivated by the feeling I get when I land a new trick or nail a competition run—it’s something I can’t find anywhere else. I also love the energy and atmosphere of competitions; it makes me feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Outside of skiing, I’m focused on growing my brand, Soul Outerwear, and I also love hiking, camping, and traveling. My favourite part about freestyle skiing is the people—it’s like one big family no matter where you go.
I’m currently in Grade 11 at Bishop Carroll, and my favourite subjects are usually the ones I get the best grades in. A few years ago, I almost quit skiing after breaking my collarbone and biting through my tongue doing cork 7s. I was scared to flip again and started regressing, which was tough to stay motivated through. But at the end of that season, I finally overcame my fear—and the next season, I learned double corks. That experience completely changed my mindset and made everything in skiing feel possible again.
Career Highlights
4th – Senior Nationals Big Air (with my first double cork 1440)
