The FIS Freeski Halfpipe World Cup, presented by Toyota, is back at Calgary’s Canadian Olympic Park! Join us in cheering on the athletes as they compete on Thursday, January 19 and Saturday, January 21, 2023. Qualifications are held over the day between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The finals begin under the lights starting at 6:00 PM. More information is on the Freestyle Canada Snow Rodeo website.
Everyone is welcome to watch the event from the bottom of the Halfpipe, which is a short walk from the WinSport’s Frank King day lodge. Sports team, students and other interested groups are welcome to contact Freestyle Alberta to find out how they can participate!
Volunteer
Volunteers are need on make this exciting event run smoothly. There are a variety of roles on and off the slope beginning on Tuesday, January 17 and ending on Saturday, January 21. Volunteers can get World Cup swag and jackets in return for their help. Go to the online sign up to see how you can help!
