What does becoming a member of Freestyle Alberta actually mean? To ensure the safety of all participants, if you are taking part in a Freestyle Alberta-sanctioned event, camp, program, or course, you must have an active membership for the season from Freestyle Alberta.
Memberships for the 2024–2025 season are effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
ALL CLUBS, ATHLETES, JUDGES, OFFICIALS, VOLUNTEERS AND COACHES CAN RENEW THEIR MEMBERSHIP AS OF JULY 1ST, 2024.
All volunteers should get a volunteer membership if assisting with any on-hill roles (in the field of play). Note that if you have an Athlete, Official, Judges or Coach Membership, you are covered for volunteering under it and do NOT need to register for an additional Volunteer Membership. Additional screening requirements include background checks. All volunteer memberships are free!
Clubs must be registered and in good standing with Freestyle Alberta to operate, as sanctioned by Freestyle Canada. Clubs travelling outside of Canada to attend training or an event must contact info@freestylecanada.ski and complete an “Out-of-Country” Sanction Request a minimum of 14 days before leaving Canada. Athletes travelling outside Canada for Freestyle activities must obtain a Class 1,2,3, or 4 from the athlete insurance program.
