Canada Winter Games (CWG) is an opportunity for athletes in the “Train to Compete” stage of the Long Term Athlete Development model (LTAD) to participate in a multi-sport winter games.

The objective of Freestyle Alberta (FA) is to select a team that has the most medal potential at the CWG. CWG flag points are a secondary objective to the overall medal count.
FA will select a 2019 CWG team to represent Team Alberta, comprised of 6 male and 6 female athletes to compete in the disciplines of:
- Moguls
- Aerials
- Slopestyle
- Halfpipe
- BigAir
FA’s 2019 CWG Section Committee consists of the following individuals:
Chris Ebbern, Head Coach 2019 CWG, Alberta Park & Pipe Team Head Coach
Rob Kober, Assistant Coach 2019 CWG, Alberta Mogul Team Head Coach
Troy Minogue, Treasurer, FA*
