Due to the Alberta Family Day weekend and international world cup events, the Airdrie 2020 Alberta Winter Games Society was unable to secure venues to host the following sports during the dates of Feb 14-17, 2020; Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Snowboarding. The Host Society, the three Provincial Sport Organizations and the Alberta Sport Connection have collaborated to provide these athletes with an Alberta Games Class event on an alternate weekend in the 2020 season.
